Bio

Kyle J. Bassett earned his MFA in Poetry from at Arizona State University and is currently a Ph.D. student at Texas Tech where his studies focus around contemporary American poetry, issues of white-privilege, and letterpress printing & book history. 

His work has previously appeared or is forthcoming in Commonweal, Borderland: Texas Poetry Review, The McNeese Review, and elsewhere.

Kyle was awarded the 2017 Helen DeVitt Jones Print Fellowship at the Charles Adams Studio Project where he teaches Letterpress courses & Print Sunday workshops. 


Kyle is also the founder of Dust Devil Press, a Lubbock-based printing collective.
